The staff were all friendly - the manageress was particularly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the lounge/bar area comfortable Visibility of staff economical - bar has honesty box!. The hotel is well situated although be prepared for steep steps up to hotel from the harbour (85 in fact). If you are travelling by car- parking is available but not close to the hotel (you need to get a disc from the tourist information bureau) - parking is free from 6pm - 8 am.The rooms are comfortable and clean and rooms with sea views good but for the price not that good value for money.
Some of the rooms had very basic en suite facilities although we had our room switched when me mentioned this-

Fantastic breakfasts. Wonderful bar and sunroom. Rooms spotless.
Need to be a mountain goat to get there. Or have a team of Sherpas to carry heavy luggage a long way. Definitely must be difficult for old couples and disabled.

The best 2 star hotel I've ever staid in. We were only staid two nights but I wished I could live there. Very comfortable bed. The room is small but it has everything. Refrigerator, tv. In the bath room they have towel warmer and complete shower staff and more. We had the view of beautiful port and our neighbors gardens. Do not mind the stairs it totally worth it. I will go back to this hotel.

The informality of the layout. The helpfulness of the receptionist in offering suggestions for a restaurant. The quality and variety of the breakfast menu.
Acessible only by a severe climb up steps or a steep descent from the roads. It was quite hard work taking our luggage down and up. Ok the steps are mentioned in the literature, but the map indicates that the hotel is very close to the road at the top - it is not! The room was pretty small, once we had the luggage in there. Especially for the price we paid.

Very nice hotel with lovely view. Staff were very helpful! Incredible sea view.
We did not realise there was so much step to access the hotel, it would not be the best one for the older generation. We were on the top floor and the shower pressure was very limited.

The staff were really friendly. We stayed in December, which was off-season, so we were the only family there. It was quiet and relaxing. Breakfasts was prepared for us (full English) quickly. The location is also really nice. There are a few steps to climb to get to the hotel but it was worth it for the view.

I was looking for central hotel,as i have bad back.Your location map was very misleading.Hotel is located in a lane, which accessible from the street above it by 45 steps(as told to me by taxi driver who left me there who claimed they counted them) and by 105 steps to the nearest lower street. Room was cold and uncomfortable, with very loud bath room fan. Breakfast finished at 9.00 am.,and room had to be vacated by 10am. All i can say is this was a most unpleasant experience, and you should check out what i say before sending other customers,

Close to the town but far enough away to be quiet.
